Multi‑Craft Maintenance – Make

Location: Decatur, AL

COMPETITIVE STARTING PAY – START RATE $30.26–$35.01 PER HOUR

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot automated systems – including programmable logic controls, electrical components, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic interrelations.
  • Take control of plant equipment reliability and own the results of operations by preventing breakdowns and improving preventive maintenance practices.
  • Be a maintenance professional who understands the importance of documentation and data analysis as part of the job of sustaining equipment reliability.
  • Be an electro‑mechanical technician familiar with the methodologies of reliability‑centered maintenance and able to take charge of designing, planning, and executing restoration/repair projects.
  • Be a loyal and reliable team member who consistently finds the good in their teammates and is dedicated to getting the job done no matter the sacrifice.

  • Journeyman level knowledge regarding electrical and control systems, power transmission systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, automation, and multi‑craft maintenance.
  • Must be willing to work on shift (12‑hour 2‑2‑3 shift rotation, fixed days or nights).
  • Safely operate powered industrial equipment and follow all company Safety Rules & GMPs.
  • Capable of leading and directing a crew of contractors in the execution of a job you have planned or assisted in planning.
  • Be an exemplary contributor to team‑driven projects and be a willing leader on the projects that you are suited to lead.
  • A clear and effective communicator in verbal, written, and meeting settings.
  • Maintain and improve equipment through analysis of data, preventive maintenance procedures, predictive maintenance practices, and reliability‑centered maintenance strategies.
  • Possess the desire to advance and develop your own knowledge and skill set.
  • Have the drive to hold your teammates accountable to the same level of expectation that you hold yourself.
