Elliot Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Nashville, Tennessee. The role involves conducting regular maintenance on machinery and vehicles, performing inspections, and ensuring equipment functionality.

Candidates should possess knowledge in electrical systems, hydraulics, and diesel engines, along with a valid Class A CDL. The position offers a full benefits package including disability insurance, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan.

Job Description

• Conduct regular maintenance on machinery, systems, and automotive vehicles including tires and tracks
• Meet with crew members and leads to better understand their concerns and identify issues.
• Assemble mechanical components according to specs
• Examine machines and oversee diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems
• Design a plan of action for all maintenance equipment tasks and upgrades.
• Maintain work logs, repairs, and maintenance records
• Monitor inventory and order new parts when necessary
• Perform vehicle/equipment assessments and alert appropriate parties on issues that will prohibit their vehicle/equipment from operating correctly or passing an inspections
• Perform DOT inspections

Qualifications

• Must provide own tools
• Experience in electrical, hydraulics, and diesel preferred
• Must have or be eligible to obtain a Class A CDL

General Requirements

Must be willing to travel.

40+ hours a week expected.
