Job summary

Silgan, America's largest metal food packaging producer, is hiring for a maintenance role on a high-speed coater line. You will troubleshoot, repair, and modify mechanical systems while using precision tools and recording quality checks.

Starting pay is $33.12 per hour with a $2,000 graduated sign-on bonus, wage premiums, and a comprehensive benefits package. Overtime, shift differential, and on-the-job training are included to support your growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalency.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to pass a mechanics test.
• Desire to operate and maintain Silgan's coater lines by performing and documenting quality checks and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Utilize your mechanical knowledge in maintaining a high speed coater line.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and modify all mechanical systems.
• Use precision measuring tools and work with close tolerances up to .0010.
• Work with management to improve work area, safety, quality, cost, and productivity.

Starting pay is $33.02 per hour, plus additional wage premiums

Shifts offered:

6AM to 6PM - Sun, Mon, Tues with alternating Wednesdays
6AM to 6PM - Thurs, Fri, Sat, both with alternating Wednesdays
