Job summary

Jasper Electric Motors in Jasper, Indiana is seeking a Motor Mechanic to repair and troubleshoot large and small DC motors. You will perform tests on armature and field circuits and use diagnostic tools to verify component health.

This on-site role follows a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:00am to 4:00pm with on-call rotations. The position offers paid training, competitive wages based on experience, and comprehensive benefits including medical and a 401(k) with ESOP.

Qualifications

Job Overview

Jasper Electric Motors is looking for a Motor Mechanic to join our team. You will be responsible for repairing and troubleshooting various types of motors.

Schedule

Monday – Friday (6:00am to 4:00pm) On call rotating schedule for after hours, holidays, and weekends.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years’ experience required Knowledge of shop equipment Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Deadline and detail-oriented Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Pay based on experience Self-driven and good communication skills Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug screens.
