Job summary

Centuri Construction Group, Inc. is seeking a mechanic to maintain and repair construction vehicles and large equipment in outdoor sites. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and coordinate repairs with operations while keeping accurate records.

The role requires a high school diploma and general knowledge of construction equipment, with CDL Class A eligibility a plus. Safety, training, and benefits are provided as part of a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of construction related equipment is expected.
• Existing CDL or ability/willingness to obtain Class A CDL is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair small engines (gas and diesel).
• Perform preventative maintenance and check oil and fluid levels.
• Keep inventory records for repairs, parts, and inventories.
• Coordinate with operations and schedule repairs/PMs.
• Provide after-hours support for critical timelines as needed.
• Diagnose and fix electrical problems.
• Use pneumatic tools on construction equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Mechanics perform maintenance service on construction vehicles and large equipment and machines.

What You'll Do

• Maintenance and repair of small engines, both gas and diesel
• Performpreventative maintenance work, such as checking oil and fluid levels on all equipment
• Maintaininventory records on repairs made, parts ordered, and part inventories
• Coordinatework with operations and maintains communication for scheduling repairs and PMs
• Provide after-hours support for critical timelines when needed
• Diagnose and correct electrical problems
• Use of pneumatic tools for construction equipment
• Perform other tasks as requested by leadership

What You'll Have
