Job summary

Alter Trading Corporation is seeking an energetic Maintenance Mechanic for our North Little Rock location. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment to keep operations running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED with 2–4 years of experience in truck repairs, hydraulics, welding, and related electrical work. Some roles may involve off-site tasks and parts ordering.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required. Prefer AAS (technical degree) and/or technical certification in Truck Repair, Welding, Hydraulics, and Electrical & Diesel Mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, repair and conduct preventive maintenance on all facility equipment.
• Inspect and conduct preventive maintenance on all equipment.
• May maintain facility equipment on or off site including skid steer and wire striper.
• Prepare & maintain all maintenance records.
• Organize and maintain cleanliness of Maintenance Department.
• Involved in ordering parts, welding and fabricating, minor electrical repairs.

Job Description/Responsibilities

1. Troubleshoot, maintain, repair and conduct preventive maintenance on all facility equipment.
2. Inspect and conduct preventive maintenance on all equipment
3. May maintain facility equipment, on or off site including but not limited to:
   • Skid Steer
   • Wire Striper
4. Prepare & maintain all maintenance records

Qualifications

Must be able to analyze facts and determine action using a range of procedures within limits of standard practice.
