New River Landscaping is seeking a dependable, hands-on Small Engine & Equipment Mechanic to keep our crews and equipment running.

You will work on commercial zero-turn and walk-behind mowers, blowers, trimmers, edgers, chainsaws, and other landscape equipment, performing diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance to keep machinery in top condition.

• Experience repairing small engines and commercial landscape equipment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.

• Basic knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.

New River Landscaping is hiring a dependable, hands-on Small Engine & Equipment Mechanic to keep our crews and equipment running.

We are looking for someone who knows small engines, commercial mowers, landscape equipment, and light construction equipment.

You do not need to be a diesel or heavy truck mechanic. We are more interested in someone who can troubleshoot problems, make repairs, and keep our equipment in top working condition.

What You'll Work On

• Commercial zero-turn and walk-behind mowers
• Blowers, trimmers, edgers, and chainsaws
• Small gas engines
• Skid steers and mini skid steers
• Trenchers and compact construction equipment
• Hydraulic and electrical systems
• Trailers
• Basic truck maintenance and minor repairs
• Preventative maintenance and equipment inspections

What We're Looking For

• Experience repairing small engines and commercial landscape equipment
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to diagnose and repair equipment efficiently
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
• Dependable, organized, and self-motivated
• Ability to manage repairs, parts, and maintenance schedules
• Someone who takes pride in their work and keeps the shop organized

Truck and diesel experience is a plus, but NOT required.
