Centuri is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to support construction vehicles and large equipment. You will perform maintenance and repair of small gas and diesel engines, and handle routine inspections to keep sites productive.

You will coordinate with operations for scheduling repairs and PMs, maintain repair records and inventories, and provide after-hours support when timelines require it. A CDL Class A license or willingness to obtain one is preferred.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• General knowledge of construction equipment required.
• CDL Class A license or willingness to obtain one.

Responsabilidades

• Maintenance and repair of small engines (gas and diesel).
• Perform preventative maintenance and check oil and fluid levels.
• Maintain repair records, parts orders, and inventories.
• Coordinate work with operations and schedule repairs and PMs.
• Provide after-hours support for critical timelines.
• Diagnose and repair electrical problems.
• Use pneumatic tools on construction equipment.
• Handle other tasks as assigned by leadership.

Mechanics perform maintenance service on construction vehicles and large equipment and machines.
What You'll Do

• Maintenance and repair of small engines, both gas and diesel
• Perform preventative maintenance work, such as checking oil and fluid levels on all equipment
• Maintain inventory records on repairs made, parts ordered, and part inventories
• Coordinate work with operations and maintains communication for scheduling repairs and PMs
• Provide after-hours support for critical timelines when needed
• Diagnose and correct electrical problems
• Use of pneumatic tools for construction equipment
• Perform other tasks as requested by leadership

What You'll Have

• Existing CDL or ability/willingness to obtain Class A CDL

Work Environment

• Work sites are outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions
• All worksite safety instructions are written and spoken in English; must be fluent in English
• Work includes prolonged and repeated: lifting (including overhead, up to 50lbs); standing; climbing; kneeling; reaching and feeling; crouching and crawling
• Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice
• Work is performed within the “red zone” of heavy equipment
• Working safely requires quick/accurate hand-eye coordination and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner

Legal Stuff

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
