Job summary

Cencora is seeking a maintenance-focused professional to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility and equipment at our Columbus, Ohio site. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and control system issues to restore equipment availability and ensure reliability.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 0–2 years of experience in facilities maintenance, with CFM preferred.

Responsibilities

Diagnoses mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and control system issues to restore equipment availability. Repairs pumps, compressors, motors, generators, conveyors, and other site equipment to improve reliability. Documents maintenance activities, updates work orders, and records parts usage to maintain planning accuracy and inventory control. Inspects equipment condition and identifies emerging maintenance issues for timely escalation and resolution. Follows safety and environmental requirements during maintenance execution to maintain compliance and audit readiness.

Bachelor's degree in industrial maintenance, mechanical engineering technology, electrical engineering technology, mechatronics, facilities management, or a related field, or equivalent experience required. Less than 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance, maintenance operations, industrial maintenance, building systems, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, or a related field required. Certified Facility Manager (CFM), or equivalent certification preferred.
