ECM Energy Services, Inc. is seeking a dependable Fleet Mechanic to join our Bridgeport, WV team. This role focuses on preventative maintenance and light repairs for our light-duty fleet vehicles, ensuring equipment is safe, reliable, and road-ready.

You will perform routine maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs, maintain records, and coordinate with operations for scheduled service. A valid driver's license is required; CDL is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an automotive or fleet mechanic preferred.
• Experience working on light-duty trucks and fleet vehicles.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, brake, suspension, and engine systems.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and shop equipment.
• Valid driver's license required (CDL a plus but not required).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance services (oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, fluid checks, etc.).
• Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure safety and DOT compliance.
• Diagnose and complete minor mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
• Coordinate with operations to schedule routine maintenance.
• Ensure shop area is clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist with parts ordering and inventory tracking as needed.
• Respond to light emergency repair needs when required.

Position Summary

The Fleet Mechanic is responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs on company light-duty trucks and fleet vehicles. This role plays a key part in maintaining safety, minimizing downtime, and extending the life of company assets.
