  • Commitment to teamwork and customer service.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.
  • Willingness to work extended hours, including holidays, weekends, and rotating shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment and engines, including cranes, hydraulic systems, charging/starting systems, mechanical gear drives, pneumatic controls, and diesel/gas/propane engines.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve equipment issues using repair manuals, schematics, diagrams, and diagnostic procedures.
  • Ensure the safe operation of all equipment and adherence to company safety protocols.
  • Assist in developing and implementing maintenance policies, procedures, and preventative maintenance programs.
  • Analyze operational reports to monitor equipment usage, maintenance efficiency, and quality, and recommend improvements as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and support overall operational goals.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
  • Document and report all incidents according to company protocols.
  • Support company safety initiatives and participate in safety training as required.
  • Perform corrective and preventive maintenance tasks across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and welding disciplines as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned to support the maintenance team and operational needs.
