Job summary

Precision Tune Auto Care in Augusta, GA is seeking a Mechanic PT01C Technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles while delivering excellent customer service. You’ll train and mentor teammates, keep your work area safe and organized, and stay up to date on the latest automotive technologies.

This position offers competitive hourly pay, comprehensive medical/dental/vision coverage after the 1st month, a retirement plan, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months of automotive repair experience or mechanical experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Willingness to work days, nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair systems including brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, electrical, cooling, suspension, and alignment.
• Perform routine maintenance services (oil changes, tire services, etc.).
• Explain repair needs and technical information to customers and teammates.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with new vehicle technologies.
• Support fellow technicians with complex repairs and troubleshooting.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Follow all company, safety, and environmental procedures.

Position Summary

What You’ll Do

What You Bring

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. without assistance
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach frequently during the workday
• Safely operate vehicles and automotive tools
• Communicate effectively in person and by phone
