Job summary

Precision Tune Auto Care is hiring an Automotive Mechanic/Technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles while delivering excellent customer service. You’ll help train teammates, keep a safe workspace, and stay updated on the latest automotive tech.

You bring at least 6 months of repair experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid license. Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends, is required. We offer competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months of automotive repair or mechanical experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Section 609 Certification preferred.
• State Inspection License if applicable.
• Willingness to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair systems including brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, electrical, cooling, suspension, and alignment.
• Perform routine maintenance services (oil changes, tire services, etc.).
• Explain repair needs and technical information to customers and teammates.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with new vehicle technologies.
• Support fellow technicians with complex repairs and troubleshooting.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Follow all company, safety, and environmental procedures.

Position Summary

As an Automotive Mechanic / Technician, you’ll inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles while delivering excellent customer service. You’ll also help train and mentor team members, keep your work area safe and organized, and stay up to date on the latest automotive technologies.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. without assistance
