Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Venice, FL is seeking a Mech & Robotics Tech (Amazon RME) for a temporary role within the Operations Maintenance team. You will repair and maintain material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, emphasizing safety, troubleshooting, and learning new automated systems to help the team succeed.

The position may require flexible shifts, possible travel up to 20%, and a pay rate of $25-27 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends, nights and/or holidays.
• 1 year of experience in PC competency to include Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to move up to 49 lbs and stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Possible travel up to 20% at a minimum.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Track and store department inventory while maintaining a positive working relationship across the facility.
