Hargrove EPC is seeking a Mechanical/Piping Drafter to perform routine design under supervision. You will assist in developing piping drawings, read project specs, and contribute to field design tasks and startup support.
Qualified candidates have at least 2 years in mechanical/piping drafting, proficiency in 2D AutoCAD or Microstation, and strong communication skills. The role includes collaboration with cross-functional teams and a robust benefits package.
Job Scope: Generally responsible for performing routine design of less complex design assignments using theoretical knowledge and practical design methods. This level is expected to assist in the design of larger and more complex mechanical/piping assignments. This work will be performed under close supervision.
Primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Associate degree in Engineering Technology or Computer-Aided Drafting is preferred.
Certification: Certification is not required at this level.
Experience: This position requires 2+ years of relevant industrial experience in mechanical/piping drafting and design.
