Job summary

Schenck USA Corp. is seeking a Mechanical/Electrical Assembler to build machines and large assemblies using power tools and hand tools in a manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in an industrial/mechanical background, experience with electrical panel wiring, and the ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics. Must lift up to 50 lbs and follow written and verbal instructions in English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A vocational/technical schooling is helpful but not required.
• 3+ years in an industrial/mechanical role is preferred.
• Experience with electrical panel wiring is preferred.
• Ability to read basic mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Build machines and large assemblies using power and hand tools.
• Assemble electrical panels and wiring components.
• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Spray paint machine parts as needed.
• Move materials with forklift and overhead hoist.
• Construct crates and perform basic facility maintenance.
