Generator Supercenter of Little Rock is seeking a dependable Generator Mechanic / Service Technician to join our field team in Little Rock, AR. This role involves diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing whole-home standby generators at residential locations using a company-provided service vehicle.

You will read wiring diagrams, service manuals, and ATS systems; communicate clearly with customers about findings and recommendations; document work in the service-management software; and support

Qualifications

• 1+ years of generator service, small engine repair, or related mechanical/electrical work.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
• Comfortable working independently in the field with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Travel to residential job sites using a company-provided service vehicle.
• Perform diagnostics, routine maintenance, and repairs on whole-home standby generators.
• Troubleshoot and service mechanical and electrical components, including ATS systems.
• Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Clearly communicate with customers regarding services performed and recommendations.
• Accurately document all work in our service management software.
• Follow safety protocols and industry best practices when working around electricity.
• Support emergency service calls during weather-related outages or storms, as needed.

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (occasional flexibility required for emergencies)
