The role involves performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on standby generators. Candidates with over a year of mechanical and electrical repair experience are encouraged to apply. Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in generator service or related mechanical/electrical work.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
• Physically able to perform job duties including climbing ladders and lifting equipment.
• Comfortable working independently in the field with minimal supervision.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Travel to residential job sites using a company-provided service vehicle.
• Perform diagnostics, routine maintenance, and repairs on whole-home standby generators.
• Support emergency service calls during weather-related outages.
• Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Clearly communicate with customers regarding services performed and any recommendations.
• Accurately document all work in our service management software.
• Follow safety protocols and industry best practices when working around electricity.
• Support emergency service calls during weather-related outages or storms, as needed.

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (occasional flexibility required for emergencies)
