Job summary

Auto Intensive Care of Savannah Inc. in Savannah, GA is seeking a skilled automotive mechanic to join our team. You will perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs with a focus on quality repairs and outstanding customer service.

The ideal candidate has proven experience, familiarity with diagnostic software and tools, and a strong team attitude. ASE certification is preferred but not required, and a valid driver's license is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven automotive mechanic experience.
• Diagnostics, repair, and preventative maintenance expertise.
• Familiarity with diagnostic software and shop tools.
• ASE certification preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and team orientation.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic testing on vehicles to identify mechanical and electrical issues
• Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
• Repair and replace faulty components such as brakes, suspension, and drivetrain parts
• Inspect vehicles thoroughly and communicate findings to service advisors or customers
• Utilize shop equipment and diagnostic tools to complete repairs efficiently and accurately
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with shop standards
• Document all work performed and parts used for accurate service records
