BHI Inc in Apache Junction, AZ is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our busy repair shop. As an Auto Mechanic, you will diagnose and repair vehicle issues, and help customers understand repairs and costs.

You will also maintain repair shop equipment, prepare cost estimates, and ensure a welcoming environment for customers. The ideal candidate is proficient at communicating with customers and explaining vehicle issues clearly, with a focus on delivering valuable advice and high service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or completion of automotive service program preferred.
• ASE or SAE certifications preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles coming into the shop.
• Carry out routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements.
• Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes.
• Create repair estimates and timelines and convey information to customers in an easy-to-understand manner.
• Maintain accurate repair shop records and paperwork.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
