Job summary

Northeast Grocery is seeking a Meat Department Associate to deliver fast, friendly service to Price Chopper customers. You will wrap, weigh and label meat products, ensure proper case display, rotate stock, and maintain a clean workstation following 5S standards.

Adherence to sanitation policies, accurate pricing, and courteous customer interactions are essential. This role requires willingness to work in a cold environment and lift up to 50–75 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service.
• Smile, make eye contact and thank customers after fulfilling requests.
• Maintain a clean, neat workstation according to 5S standards.
• Follow wrapping and weighing procedures for meat products.
• Display and rotate meat products and adhere to pricing and coding.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation policies and procedures.
• Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
