MEAT/WRAPPER (Finance)

Prepare and display meat items for sale in accordance with company standards and policies. Wait on customers and provide customer service. Demonstrate the company's leadership behaviors and core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Minimum Requirements:

• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to read shelf tags, signs, and labels.
• Qualified to operate power tools and equipment (automatic wrappers, slicers, grinders, power saws, jacks, etc.).
• Ability to work safely with cleaning chemicals.
• Teamwork in a fast-paced environment and willingness to assist all department members.
• Calm handling of stressful situations, making positive impressions on customers and colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in meat work or food preparation.
• Dependability and integrity reflected in past work.
• Knowledge of employment laws, OSHA, and food safety regulations.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Prepare and display merchandise neatly and efficiently.
• Ensure product quality, freshness, safety, and proper rotation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of sales areas, backrooms, coolers, carts, tools, and floors.
• Manage inventory levels and freshness in display cases, unload trucks, and prepare merchandise for sale.
• Provide excellent customer and colleague relations.
• Sanitize equipment per policies and health regulations.
• Create a friendly impression on customers, assist with product location, and greet customers cheerfully.
• Follow all relevant laws, policies, and procedures, including dress code, grooming, food safety, and anti-discrimination policies.
• Maintain equipment and facilities properly and safely.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
