PW Retail Foods LLC is seeking a Meat Wrapper in Wisconsin to weigh, wrap, price, label and stock meat items. The role emphasizes accurate pricing, sanitation, and courteous service in a fast-paced store environment.

The position supports a variety of shifts, with part-time hours and duties assigned by the Meat Manager. Training and on-site supervision are provided to ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma - General Studies
• Identify all cuts of meat
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions
• Occasional climbing, balancing, sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, lifting up to 100 lb and exposure to temperatures down to 35 degrees

Responsibilities

• Adhere to company policy through proper processing, preparation, and packaging of product
• Ensure pricing on product is correct and clearly marked
• Follow all regulations regarding meat operations, safety, and sanitation
• Maintain proper case conditions: cleaning, stocking, rotating product to minimize shrink
• Promote sales through courteous customer service
• Follow direction of Meat Manager/Manager on Duty and perform other duties as assigned

Position Overview

The Meat Wrapper is responsible for handling meat and meat products. Wrapper will weigh, wrap, price, and label all meat products, as well as stock shelves and maintain a clean work area. Wrapper is responsible for setting an example in providing attentive and courteous customer service.
