Minimum qualifications:
- Willing and available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to read shelf tags, signs, and labels.
- Qualified to operate power tools and equipment such as wrappers, slicers, grinders, power saws, and jacks.
- Ability to work safely with cleaning chemicals.
- Teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment and willingness to assist colleagues.
- Calm and tactful handling of stressful situations, making positive impressions on customers and staff.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in meat preparation or similar food service roles.
- Dependability and integrity in past work records.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including OSHA and food safety standards.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Preparing and displaying merchandise neatly and efficiently.
- Ensuring product quality, freshness, and proper rotation.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of sales areas, backrooms, and coolers.
- Keeping carts, tools, and supplies organized and floors clean and safe.
- Managing inventory levels and freshness in display cases, unloading trucks, and preparing merchandise.
- Providing excellent customer and coworker relations.
- Sanitizing equipment per company and health department policies.
- Making a positive, friendly impression on customers.
- Communicating effectively with customers and team members.
- Promptly and cheerfully assisting customers, greeting them, and helping find products.
- Following all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies regarding dress code, grooming, food safety, and harassment prevention.
- Maintaining equipment and facilities properly and safely.
- Performing any additional duties as assigned.
Salary Range: $16.91 - $26.15 per hour.
