Minimum Requirements:
- Willing and available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to read shelf tags, signs, and product labels.
- Qualified to operate power tools and equipment such as wrappers, slicers, grinders, power saws, and jacks.
- Work safely with various cleaning solutions.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and assist team members.
- Handle stressful situations tactfully and calmly, leaving a positive impression on customers and colleagues.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in meat work or food preparation.
- Dependability and integrity in past work records.
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to employment, OSHA, and food handling.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Prepare and display merchandise neatly and efficiently.
- Ensure product quality, freshness, safety, and proper rotation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in sales areas, backrooms, and coolers.
- Keep carts, tools, and supplies organized and floors clean and safe.
- Manage inventory levels and freshness in display cases, unload trucks, and prepare merchandise for sale.
- Provide excellent customer and associate relations.
- Sanitize equipment according to policies and health regulations.
- Maintain a positive and professional appearance and attitude.
- Communicate effectively with customers and staff.
- Promptly and cheerfully serve customers, assist in product location, and follow all relevant laws and policies.
- Keep work areas and equipment in good condition, and perform any additional duties as assigned.
