MEAT/WRAPPER (Finance)

Prepare and display meat items for sale according to company standards and policies. Provide customer service by assisting customers and demonstrating the company's leadership behaviors and core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Minimum qualifications:

• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to read shelf tags, signs, and labels.
• Qualified to operate power tools and equipment (wrapper, slicer, grinder, saw, jack, etc.).
• Ability to work safely with cleaning chemicals.
• Teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment and willingness to assist colleagues.
• Calm, tactful handling of stressful situations and positive customer interactions.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in meat preparation or similar food service roles.
• Dependability and integrity shown in past work.
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations (OSHA, food handling, etc.).

Additional responsibilities include:

• Preparing and displaying merchandise neatly and efficiently.
• Monitoring product quality, freshness, and proper rotation.
• Keeping sales areas, backrooms, and coolers clean and organized.
• Maintaining carts, tools, and supplies in designated areas.
• Ensuring inventory levels and freshness in display cases.
• Unloading trucks and preparing merchandise for sale.
• Providing excellent customer and colleague relations.
• Sanitizing equipment per policies and health regulations.
• Creating a friendly impression for customers.
• Communicating effectively with customers and staff.
• Promptly and cheerfully serving customers, greeting them, and assisting with product location.
• Following all relevant laws, policies, and procedures, including dress code, grooming, and food safety.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
