Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to support Fresh departments with warm, knowledgeable customer service and attractive displays. You will stock and rotate products while helping customers find what they need, using store tech to complete tasks and following food safety standards.

This role emphasizes reliability, attentiveness, and the ability to stay active in a fast‑paced retail environment. Prior retail or food service experience helps but isn’t required, as training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Work across departments including Meat, Produce, Bakery, Deli, Seafood and Grocery.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
