Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver a fresh, welcoming store experience across our Fresh departments. You will build connections with customers, share product knowledge, and help shoppers find what they need while maintaining appealing displays.

You'll stock, rotate, and merchandise to standards, use store technology, and follow strict food safety and sanitation procedures. This role involves teamwork across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in retail or food service is helpful but not required.
• Strong communication and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver remarkable customer service with product knowledge, efficiency, and a friendly attitude.
