Job summary

Save A Lot Grocery is seeking a Meat Wrapper to unload meat products from trucks, weigh and wrap items, and stock them in the cooler and on racks. The associate will assist customers, check dates for freshness, and ensure product displays are clean and well-stocked.

Work involves operating slicers, grinders, scales, and labeling machines, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in a refrigerated environment from 0 to 55 degrees. 18+ required with pre-employment drug screening.

Qualifications

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Able to read and write.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to travel to and from work.
• Minimum age 18.

Responsibilities

• Unload product from trucks and stage in cooler/freezer.
• Weight, wrap, package and price meat items.
• Stock meat on racks and shelves and rotate product.
• Assist customers with selections and provide general assistance.
• Operate knives, slicers, scales and labeling equipment.
• Maintain sanitation and perform cleaning duties in work areas.
