Kroger Family of Companies in the United States is seeking a Meat Department team member to support clean-up, stock work, and customer service. You will greet customers, assist with products, and ensure safe handling and display of meats in accordance with company standards and health regulations.

Responsibilities include temperature monitoring, quality checks, and maintaining clean sales floors, backrooms, and coolers.

Formación

• Minimum: ability to read shelf tags, signs, labels and training materials.
• Must be able to multitask, set priorities and work with all levels of the organization.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to engage customers and associates.
• Personal initiative and follow-through to completion; teamwork in fast-paced environments.

Responsabilidades

• Wait on customers promptly and cheerfully; greet customers and provide quality food.
• Operate in a respectful, calm, courteous, and professional manner.
• Unloading, storing, displaying foods per standards and policies.
• Perform temperature monitoring and ensure product quality and safety.
• Keep sales areas, backrooms and coolers clean and organized; maintain floors.
• Wash and sanitize cookware and utensils per policies and procedures.
• Maintain signage, rotation, freshness, quantity, and space allocation for merchandise.
• Follow company policies and health regulations; operate cash register when required.
• Work cooperatively in high-paced, sometimes stressful environments and resolve issues calmly.
