Job summary

Hy-Vee in Mankato is seeking a Meat Specialist to cut, tenderize, and merchandise fresh meat, while delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced department. You will be responsible for preparing cutting lists, assisting customers, and ensuring proper refrigeration and hygiene throughout the Meat Department.

The role requires at least a High School diploma or equivalent and Hy-Vee food safety training, with over a year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service, greeting and assisting customers.

• Monitors refrigeration and maintains department hygiene and safety standards.
• Reports to work on time and collaborates with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience.
