Link Snacks in Minnesota is seeking a Food Scientist to drive corporate R&D initiatives, including new product development, packaging, quality control, and food safety. You will help achieve growth objectives by applying technology and innovation, leading plant trials, and collaborating with operations and QA to commercialize new products under the NPD process.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Meat Science or related field and 3+ years in product development, with strong lab skills,

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Meat Science, Food Science, Animal Science or related field.
• 3+ years of product development or related food manufacturing experience.
• Familiarity with laboratory procedures and equipment.
• Proficient written and oral communication skills.
• Comfortable in a fast paced, changing environment.
• Demonstrated leadership and cross-functional collaboration with R&D, QA.

• Drive and support development of innovation from internal and external sources.
• Explore ingredients, vendors and processes to improve margins.
• Identify potential new platform opportunities.
• Provide technical feedback as part of the R&D team.
• Manage projects including sourcing ingredients and coordinating trials.

• Champion quality awareness across product lines.
