Job summary

UNFI's Cub Roseville West location is seeking a part-time meat team member to cut, wrap, and prepare meat and seafood, and to stock departments. You will help maintain cases and support a positive shopping experience for customers.

The role requires standing for long periods, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and flexibility to work evenings or weekends. Prior teamwork and customer service orientation are valued; training provided on equipment and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• On-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service.
• Must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Maintain meat and seafood cases.
• Perform meat and seafood cutting, wrapping, and preparation.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, cases, work area and sales floor.
• Assist customers with questions about product locations and suggestions.
• Answer department phone calls and respond or refer as appropriate.
• Assist in ordering and receiving meat and seafood shipments.
