Job summary

Plum Market in West Bloomfield, MI is seeking a Meat & Seafood Team Member to maintain fresh, appealing cases, assist with prep, and deliver exceptional Customer Service in a fast-paced retail environment. You will help with rotation, sanitation, and displays, follow safety guidelines, and work with leadership and teammates to ensure quality and a great shopping experience for our customers.

Qualifications

• Interest in or experience with meat and/or seafood products.
• Basic understanding of food safety and handling standards.
• Ability to follow instructions, complete tasks independently, and communicate clearly.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable service to all Customers.
• Assist with cutting, wrapping, labeling, and displaying meat and seafood products under supervision.
• Stock, rotate, and organize product to ensure freshness and reduce shrink.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace, prep areas, and service counters.
• Follow proper food safety, handling, and sanitation guidelines always.
• Assist with unloading, storing, and organizing deliveries.
• Help build and maintain engaging, on-brand displays for promotions and seasonal sets.
• Work collaboratively with other Team Members and department leadership.
• Uphold all Plum Market policies, safety standards, and standard operating procedures.
