Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking a Meat & Seafood Department Lead in Boca Raton to support the Department Manager in delivering an exceptional guest experience. You will guide team members, help with labor planning, inventory, and promotions to maximize sales while maintaining department standards.

Previous meat-cutting experience is preferred; you will work closely with management to coach staff and ensure a welcoming, high-quality environment for guests.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of progressive management experience in supermarkets or retail.
• Proven ability to lead a team and deliver an exceptional guest experience.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading the Meat & Seafood Department with care and purpose.
• Monitor labor schedules to meet productivity and budget goals.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, minimize shrink, and support ordering.
• Coach team members and act as resource in the manager's absence.
• Model impeccable hospitality and engage guests to drive sales.
• Collaborate with department leaders to ensure store success.
