Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Meat Clerk in Thornton, CO. You will provide exceptional customer service, handle, store, and grindMeats, and assist with special orders while adhering to safety and sanitation standards.

The role requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays. You will rotate meats, maintain product knowledge, and contribute to a fast-paced, team-focused store environment with a strong emphasis on freshness and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent and basic math skills.
• Dependable and reliable; perform other related duties as assigned.
• Outgoing and friendly with a positive attitude; ability to interact with customers.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Able to stand up to 4 hours at a time and up to 8 hours per shift; may walk up to 2 miles.
• Able to work in a temperature-controlled environment and uphold safety and sanitation standards.
• Must be able to lift/carry 25–90 lbs., and operate related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service and maintain product knowledge.
• Receive, store, and grind meats; unload and transport meats from deliveries.
• Rotate meats and ensure freshness; follow safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist customers with questions, special orders, and requests.
• Follow Clean as You Go and Fresh at 4 programs.
