Qualifications

• Earned a Ph.D. in Meat Science or closely related discipline by employment start date.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research in meat science or food systems.
• Evidence of scholarly productivity and potential for extramural funding.
• Commitment to teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students.

Responsibilities

• Develop a competitive, nationally recognized instructional and research program in Meat Science.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate meat science courses.
• Recruit and mentor graduate students; enhance experiential learning and industry engagement.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the College of Agriculture and related units to build a national program.
