Job summary

Palmer Food Services is seeking a dedicated production teammate for our ground meat processing and packaging operations in a fast-paced environment. This role supports production, packaging, and inventory activities while ensuring product quality and safety standards are met.

Hours are Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM with competitive wages and a strong benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, PTO and retirement options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or state issued equivalency certificate.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Live and exemplify the company's values and nurture a motivating environment.
• Perform grind room production activities handling ground beef, pork, chicken and other products.
• Support packaging operations and assemble/label cases as needed.
• Inspect products for quality, weight, packaging and labeling specifications.
• Maintain FIFO rotation and inventory accuracy across production areas.
• Assist with receiving, inventory counts, and movement of materials.
• Maintain GMP, SQF, HACCP knowledge and food-safety procedures.
