Job summary

Butterball is seeking team members for production roles that involve processing, cutting, and packaging turkey products in a high‑paced plant environment. You will perform repetitive tasks with emphasis on safety, quality, and sanitation to support daily production goals.

The role emphasizes adherence to GMP/HACCP standards and the ability to work independently or as part of a team, while standing for extended periods and using basic utensils and tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or related preferred
• Entry level does not require previous experience in a Production role
• Must be able to read and understand HACCP and FDA/OSHA requirements
• Read and follow safety procedures and GMP guidelines

Responsibilities

• Perform varying manual, repetitive tasks to process meat from the turkeys.
• Ensure product safety and product defense in the plant.
• Follows all GMP and HACCP procedures that relate to product safety with the facility.
• Supports all Food Safety initiatives.
• Some tasks are performed using tools or equipment, while others are completed manually.
• Monitor equipment operation and promptly notify appropriate personnel of any malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Rotate through various functions within the processing department as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned
