Smithfield Foods, Inc. is hiring a General Laborer to join our production team. You will operate hand tools, knives and equipment to process meat products, while maintaining safety, quality and efficient workflows on the line.

The role requires ability to work varied shifts, including overtime as needed, and to perform physically demanding tasks in cold and warm environments, with proper PPE and safety training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions.
• Willing to work OT as production demands.
• Comfortable working in cold (20–40°F) and hot (>100°F) environments.
• Work with knives and basic hand tools in a meat processing setting.
