Job summary

US Foods, Inc. is seeking a production worker to prepare and pack meat products in a refrigerated environment. You will contribute to feeding lines, ensure packaging meets specifications, and uphold strict food safety and GMP standards.

Responsibilities include visual inspections, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to customer requirements while working overtime as needed. Prior experience in meat processing or food production is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work continually in refrigerated environment 35°F-45°F.
• Overtime may be required with or without notice.
• High school graduate or GED preferred with basic reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced environment preparing meat products to feed lines and/or prepare for the next stage of processing.
• Effectively utilize tools, processes, and materials to process and package meat products within planned schedules.
• Follow all Food Safety requirements and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Perform visual inspection of meat products to meet certain specifications.
• Meet company standards and customer specifications.
• Assist in cleanliness of general work area.
