Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a Meat Clerk to prepare meat products, weigh, wrap, label and stock displays to keep them fresh and properly priced. You will verify signage and assist customers with queries while maintaining a safe, clean retail environment.

The role requires reading equipment, operating scales, and using tools such as pallet jacks; eligibility includes Food Handler certification and willingness to work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Food Handler certification required.
• One or more years of related experience preferred.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to read and operate digital equipment and scales.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meat products by weighing, packaging, labeling for display.
• Keep market and seafood display cases full, rotated and fresh.
• Ensure correct pricing and display signage per sale ads.
• Stock and rotate products; follow safety and hygiene standards.
• Maintain clean and sanitary work and shopping area.
• Greet customers and respond to questions with a friendly attitude.
