MEAT/MEAT CUTTER (Finance)



Perform general product preparation, cleanup, and stock work in the Meat department, providing excellent customer service. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Minimum requirements:

  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays.

  • Ability to read labels, signs, and shelf tags.
  • Safe handling of cleaning solutions, sharp tools, and equipment.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Calmly handle stressful situations and positively engage with customers and colleagues.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in meat work or food preparation.
  • Dependability and integrity in previous roles.
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations related to employment, safety, and food handling.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing tasks such as cutting, grinding, slicing, preparing, processing, trimming, tenderizing, sealing, packaging, wrapping, labeling, and merchandising.
  • Maintaining accurate temperature logs.
  • Stocking and displaying meat items safely and according to standards.
  • Checking product quality and freshness, rotating stock properly.
  • Keeping work areas clean, organized, and safe.
  • Providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Unloading trucks, sorting, and storing products appropriately.
  • Sanitizing equipment and maintaining hygiene standards.
  • Engaging positively with customers and colleagues.
  • Supporting store sales and adhering to policies on harassment and discrimination.
  • Managing conflict professionally and acting with integrity.
  • Following directions and assisting customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
  • Performing essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
