• Ability to read shelf tags, signs, and product labels.
• Ability to work with various cleaning solutions, safely use sharp tools, and operate certain equipment.

• Experience in meat work or similar food preparation roles.
• Dependability and integrity reflected in past work records.
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to employment practices, safety, and food handling.
• Ability to perform tasks such as cutting, grinding, slicing, preparing, processing, trimming, tenderizing, sealing, packaging, wrapping, bagging, pricing, and labeling.
• Maintain accurate temperature logs and keep department organized and clean.
• Stock and display meat items safely according to standards, ensure product quality, and rotate stock properly.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain good relations with customers and colleagues.
• Unload trucks, sort orders, and place items in proper cooler locations.
• Sanitize equipment and maintain a clean work environment.
• Communicate effectively with customers and staff, and adhere to company policies.
• Manage conflicts professionally, act with honesty and integrity, and support diverse customer needs.
