As a Perishable Representative, your responsibilities include maintaining a well-stocked and clean department, providing superior customer service, preparing, packaging, and merchandising fresh products daily, and adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards. Upon eligibility, you will become an Owner in the company, emphasizing our commitment, hard work, and focus on quality and Customer service.

Minimum requirements include:

• A high school diploma
• Customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Work responsibilities include:

Customer Service: Providing excellent service, taking orders, answering questions, assisting with product selections.

Food Service: Preparing, packaging, and merchandising fresh products, slicing, labeling, rotating stock, scanning items, and assisting in technical areas as needed.

Sales: Merchandising effectively, using suggestive selling, making announcements to promote products.

Food Safety / Sanitation: Cleaning and sanitizing display cases, operating equipment properly, complying with safety standards and SOPs.

Additional Department Responsibilities: Specific tasks per department such as peeling and chopping fruits and vegetables, floral arrangement design, meat preparation, produce stocking, seafood handling, etc.

Background requirements:

• Minimum age 18
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of Company Orientation and Safety Training

Skills required include computer system knowledge, strong customer service, communication, interpersonal, reading, writing, planning, and organizing skills. Ability to function effectively in a retail environment, attentiveness to customer needs, and physical ability to lift specified weights are also necessary.
