Job summary

Miner's Inc. is hiring an experienced Meat Journeyperson for our Meat Department. The role requires several years of retail meat cutting experience across chicken, beef, pork, and fish with strong customer service skills.

You will cut, display, wrap, and sell meat, and work in both refrigerated and retail-floor environments. Candidates must be 18+ and able to operate saws, slicers, grinders, and knives. This full-time position includes competitive health insurance, pension, 401(k), paid time

We are looking to hire a friendly, energetic, and helpful person to work in our Meat Department as an experienced Meat Journeyperson. In order to successfully fill this position, a candidate must have several years of retail meat cutting experience with chicken, beef, pork and fish. Excellent customer skills are necessary.

• This position requires the ability to cut meat to store standards and be able to present, wrap, display, and sell meat products.
• This job requires a person to work in both refrigerated spaces as well as on a retail grocery-selling floor.
• Experience on a meat saw, slicer, grinder, and cutting with knives is required.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. regularly and 80 lbs. occasionally.
• Meat Journeypersons must have the skills and ability to complete all work necessary to every position in the meat department.
