Job summary

The Niemann Harvest Market is seeking a Meat Journeyman Cutter to assist customers, prepare and cut meat, and maintain the freshness and presentation of the meat cases. This role supports the Meat General Manager in delivering a positive store atmosphere and a safe, efficient department.

Responsibilities include reading cutting lists, grinding meats, inventory support, receiving shipments, operating wrapping scales and related equipment, and upholding health code standards.

Qualifications

• , Six months to one year related experience and/or training.
• - Food Handler’s Certification as required by State Law provided at store level.
• - Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• - Basic math concepts (weights)

Responsibilities

• Delivers superior guest service and ensure absolute customer satisfaction

• Reads cutting lists and cuts primals to specified techniques
• Grinds meats and maintains meat cases
• Receives and processes meat shipments; operates wrapping scale and related equipment
