Job summary

Meijer Inc. is hiring a Food Clerk to deliver outstanding customer service while providing product knowledge and friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced store. You will contribute to merchandising, stocking, and display quality across Fresh departments to ensure a welcoming shopping experience.

You will build connections with customers, learn product locations, and use store technology to assist shoppers, following safety and sanitation standards daily.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates.
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need.
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
