Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to create a fresh, welcoming in-store experience across Fresh departments. You will build positive connections with customers and teammates, share product knowledge, and help customers find what they need.

You will maintain displays, stock and rotate products, and follow safety procedures while working across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery. A friendly, customer-first mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles preferred.
• Ability to learn and use store technology.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates.

• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.

• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
