Job summary

Iowa Premium, a National Beef Company, is seeking a Fabrication Quality Assurance Technician in Tama, IA. You will monitor meat quality at the end of production lines, complete audit forms, and ensure adherence to GMPs and SOPs in a safety-sensitive on-site role.

The ideal candidate has HACCP knowledge, strong communication, and experience with Excel and email workflows, plus the ability to read/write/speak Spanish. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points).
• Experience with email communications.
• Microsoft Office (Excel).
• Beef products knowledge preferred.
• Ability to withstand extreme hot/cold environments.
• Must read, write and speak Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product quality at end of production lines.
• Fill out audit reports and ensure line specifications are met.
• Follow plant GMPs and Sanitation SOPs.
• Perform metal detector auditing and E. coli sampling.
• Other duties as assigned.
